During the course of the year there’s a series of social events at Launde. This year there’s also a series of fund-raising concerts.
In a typical year the social events include Snowdrop Afternoons in the early spring, meals marking St Valentine’s Day, Mothering Sunday and Easter. There are usually open days at the spring and late summer bank holiday weekends, with regular Sunday afternoon teas during the summer months. December sees a series of Christmas lunches which are usually very popular.

Family Barbecue 27th June 2010
Join us at Launde Abbey for a Family Barbecue from 12.30 pm, followed by an afternoon of popular and light classical music in the gardens. £12.50 per person (children under 12: £7 and under 3s free). A family ticket is also available for £35.00.
Sunday teas 4th July to 22nd August 2010
Sundays 4th July to 22nd August 2010 (closed 8th August 2010): Come and enjoy a delicious cream tea in the gardens at Launde Abbey, perhaps followed by a walk in the beautiful grounds. Everyone welcome. Coach parties welcome by prior arrangement.
August Bank Holiday Open Days 28th–30th August 2010
The Launde Abbey Open Days are to be held from 11am to 4pm each day. These events are open to everyone to come and enjoy. It is a fantastic family day out—with all sorts of entertainment provided. Lunch can also be bought so you can make a whole day of it.
