During the course of the year there’s a series of social events at Launde. This year there’s also a series of fund-raising concerts.
In a typical year the social events include Snowdrop Afternoons in the early spring, meals marking St Valentine’s Day, Mothering Sunday and Easter. There are usually open days at the spring and late summer bank holiday weekends, with regular Sunday afternoon teas during the summer months. December sees a series of Christmas lunches which are usually very popular.

Snowdrop Spectacular
21st & 22nd February 2010, 2.00pm
to 4.00pm
Come and enjoy the beautiful snowdrops in the beautiful gardens at Launde. The gardens are 14 acres in size including a Victorian kitchen Walled Garden which is an acre in size. Having walked around the gardens you can then enjoy afternoon tea. These afternoons attract people to the Launde Gardens from great distances so book early to guarantee yourself the opportunity to see the snowdrops at Launde.
Mothering Sunday Lunch 14th March 2010
Come to Launde to celebrate Mothering Sunday and have a wonderful lunch. Afterwards enjoy the beauty of the gardens or relax in the Sitting Room. Book early to avoid disappointment!
Launde Abbey Open Days 29th–31st May 2010
Come and join the Launde community as they welcome and serve guests from far and wide. Last year’s event attracted over 2000 people.
August Bank Holiday Open Days 28th–30th August 2010
The Launde Abbey Open Days are to be held from 11am to 4pm each day. These events are open to everyone to come and enjoy. It is a fantastic family day out—with all sorts of entertainment provided. Lunch can also be bought so you can make a whole day of it.
