Christmas Teas

During two Sundays in Advent (7th & 14th December 2008) Launde Abbey will be opening for Christmas Teas from 3–4.30 pm.

Father Christmas will be in his grotto and visitors are invited to bring their own costumes to join in the Nativity Service later in the afternoon. Refreshments will be served from 3–4 pm.

Price: Adults £3.50 and Children £6.00 Family ticket: (2 Adults and 2 children) £15.00

Christmas Lunches

Launde Abbey will also be offering Christmas Lunches/Quiet Days on 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 15th, 16th 17th 18th and 19th December 2008.

Come and enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch with us, followed by Quiet Time in the gardens or sitting room and coffee and mince pies to end the afternoon.

Price: £14.75 per person (Children under 12: £9.00 and under 3s free) Family ticket (2 Adults and 2 children) £42.50

There will also be a Family Christmas lunch and tea on Sunday, 14th December 2008, which will include a visit to Father Christmas and the Nativity Service as above.

Open Days

The Launde Abbey Open Days are to be held from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th and Monday 25th August. These events are open to everyone to come and enjoy. It is a fantastic family day out — with all sorts of entertainment provided. Lunch can also be bought so you can make a whole day of it.

Sunday Afternoon Teas

Sunday Afternoon Teas, which are open to everyone to come and enjoy, are held on Sunday afternoons in the Summer months. Having had your delicious tea and cake why not wander around the beautiful gardens and take in the peace and tranquility that is Launde? The Chapel will also be open.

Concerts

From time to time concerts are held at Launde. Recent performers have included the pianist James Redfern (September 2008), harpist Sally Pryce (April 2008) and guitarist Morgan Szymanski (September 2007).
